I'm the photographer behind SouthernReign Photography, based in the heart of New Mexico. I have a deep love for golden sunsets! You'll always catch me taking pictures or taking a time lapse video of the sunsets here!
My sessions are all about creating space for genuine connection. I'll guide you when you need it, but you won't find stiff poses or forced smiles here. Instead, we'll wander, laugh, embrace the quiet moments, and let your story unfold naturally in the beautiful evening light.
To me, photography is about more than beautiful images. It's about preserving the feeling of this season of your life the way you looked at each other, the laughter you shared, and the moments that deserve to be remembered long after the sun has set.
Whether we're exploring the desert, watching the Sandias glow, or hanging out for the last bit of golden light, my hope is that you leave with more than a gallery. Do you pose us?
Yes, but not in the traditional sense. I'll give you prompts and gentle direction so you never feel awkward or wonder what to do with your hands. From there, I let the natural moments unfold. The goal is for your photos to feel like you, not like you're performing for the camera.
Do you travel?
Yes! I love photographing sessions in new places. Let me know where you're dreaming of, and I'll send over travel details.
How do we book?
Start by filling out the inquiry form. From there, we'll chat about your vision, choose a date + time, and make it official with a signed contract and retainer.
What if we have no idea what we're doing?
Perfect. You don't need to. Show up as yourselves, and I'll take care of the rest :)

My approach is relaxed and intentional. I'll step in when you need a little guidance, but I'm always looking for the moments that happen in between! The laughter, the quiet, the way you naturally connect. I'm less interested in perfect poses and more interested in preserving what your day actually felt like. I want your photos to bring you back to the moment, not just remind you what it looked like.
